Testing for Academic Giftedness and Twice Exceptional (2E) Students
A child who is intellectually gifted but has a neurological disorder such as ADHD, Autism, Emotional Disorder, or Specific Learning Disability is called Twice Exceptional or 2E. 2E students have a unique combination of strengths and weaknesses that require specialized instruction and intervention to maximize their response to learning and potential for success. Psychoeducational testing identifies the 2E student and provides specific/individualized academic recommendations.
