Payment Options & Insurance

Insurance Coverage

Clear Foundations is now in-network with Aetna and will soon be accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medcost, making psychological assessments and therapy more accessible for those using insurance. Our team is happy to assist with any questions about using insurance for your care.

Flexible Financing with CareCredit

We offer CareCredit as a flexible financing option to help cover expenses not included in insurance coverage. With CareCredit, you can receive the care you need now and pay over time with manageable monthly payments.

Clients can use the CareCredit credit card for psychological assessments and therapy services. Through our custom CareCredit link and QR code, you can explore financing options, check prequalification, apply, and make payments—all from your own device.

Private Pay & Comprehensive Assessments

While we accept insurance and offer financing, we encourage private pay for assessments due to the flexibility it provides in tailoring evaluations to each client’s unique needs. Regardless of how you choose to pay, every client at Clear Foundations receives the same high-quality, comprehensive assessment and care.

We are committed to ensuring that all evaluations meet the highest standards, providing you with a thorough understanding and personalized recommendations to support your growth and well-being.

Reasons not to Seek Insurance Reimbursement

Required Diagnosis of Mental Illness

A diagnosis shared with your insurance company becomes a permanent part of your medical record to determine necessary treatment.

Delayed Services

Insurance reimbursement can delay treatment and assessment, taking weeks for authorization and report delivery.

Long Wait Times

In-network providers providing psychological assessment are often overwhelmed and may take months to years to return the results.

Surprise Costs

Insurance may only cover a portion of the bill or deny the claim, leaving individuals with unexpected expenses.

Pre-existing Condition Status

Once a mental health diagnosis is on record, insurance companies may deny or reduce coverage based on preexisting conditions that they consider “high risk.”

Loss of Confidentiality

When an insurance company processes a claim, multiple people will access your diagnosis and health information as they process your claim.
