Stephanie Goodson, MS, LPA, HSP-PA

Psychologist & Owner

Stephanie is a psychologist with over 20 years of experience and a mother of two sons. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Murray State University and is licensed as a Psychological Associate by the North Carolina Psychology Board. Stephanie developed an interest in helping neurodivergent individuals and their families through her own journey to find quality support for her autistic son. Her education and personal experience have given her a unique ability to understand and connect with her clients. She believes that therapy and assessment should be supportive, accepting, and fun. Her specialties are psychological and psychoeducational assessments and therapy for a wide range of presenting concerns including: Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Bipolar Disorder, Learning Disorders, and other challenges. She uses psychological testing to help clients find clarity and build a foundation for growth and success. By building on strengths, she helps people accept and love themselves as they navigate their path to change.

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travel, and exploring Charlotte restaurants. She is an avid reader, history buff, and binge watcher of television shows. Stephanie feels a deep connection and satisfaction with her work as a psychologist.

Amanda Lewis, MA, MS

Amanda is a neuroaffirming provider dedicated to helping families and children thrive through comprehensive psychological assessments. With over six years of experience, Amanda brings warmth, empathy, and attention to detail to every evaluation, empowering families with actionable insights and strategies to foster growth and resilience.

Amanda earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Texas Christian University, followed by a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Golden Gate University and a second master’s in School Psychology from St. John’s University. Her academic journey reflects her passion for understanding the intersection of communication, mental health, and education.

At the Child Mind Institute’s Healthy Brain Network, Amanda conducted comprehensive evaluations as part of a groundbreaking research study on the development of mental health disorders. Her work with diverse populations, including children with ADHD, autism, learning differences, anxiety, and depression, has deepened her commitment to neuroaffirming practices and her understanding of how challenges and strengths shape a child’s unique path.

Amanda is passionate about the parent-child dynamic and the ways family and school environments influence a child’s emotional well-being and academic success. Her research-driven approach provides families with tailored recommendations that celebrate strength and resilience, helping children build strength and resilience.

Whether supporting a child through a diagnosis or guiding parents in creating compassionate, supportive structures, Amanda’s goal is to equip families with the tools they need to navigate challenges with confidence and compassion. When working with Amanda, families can expect a thoughtful, empathetic, and empowering experience that sets the foundation for lifelong success.

Kiarra King, MA

Psychometrist

Kiarra is a PhD candidate in Counseling Psychology at the University of Akron. She earned her BA in Psychology from the University at Buffalo in 2016 and her MA in Counseling Psychology from the University of Akron in 2019. Through her graduate training, Kiarra has gained over five years of clinical experience working with clients and patients in various settings, helping individuals navigate challenges and achieve personal growth. Kiarra is passionate about advancing the field of mental health through evidence-based practices and meaningful therapeutic connections. Outside of her professional pursuits, Kiarra enjoys hiking, spending time with her partner and friends, and reading a good book.

Maranda Connor, BS, CSP

Psychometrist

Maranda is a board certified psychometrist with over 5 years of testing administration experience.  She earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Wingate University (Wingate, NC) in 2016, where she became a member of Psi Chi International honor society of Psychology. Personal experience has driven a deep interest in the brain behavior relationship. She administers and scores assessments and assists in the report writing process. Her favorite part of the evaluation process is seeing the clarity it gives to patients and their families!

Maranda is a Charlotte native where she lives with her husband and son.  When she’s not chasing around her toddler, Maranda loves to read suspense novels, try out new baking recipes, and paint. She and her family travel internationally frequently, but admits nothing compares to southern cooking!

Lexi Riddiough, BS

Psychometrist

Lexi earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Mobile (Mobile, AL) in 2019. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and is a member of Psi Chi international honor society of Psychology. She has always been interested in the brain, and her psychology courses sparked a special interest in Neuropsychology. She also enjoys statistics, and hopes to pursue graduate studies in Quantitative Psychology or Psychometrics. She administers and scores assessments, assists in the report writing process, and enjoys interacting with clients and their families.

Lexi is originally from Wisconsin, but moved to Charlotte with her husband Zach in 2021 and adopted a cat named Lucille. Together, they enjoy hiking, kayaking, playing board games, cooking, and baking. Lexi speaks French fluently and lived in Paris after graduating from college – she hopes to live in France again someday! Lexi and Zach are members of a local church, where they are involved in several ministries and Bible studies.
