Stephanie Goodson, MS, LPA, HSP-PA
Psychologist & Owner
Stephanie is a psychologist with over 20 years of experience and a mother of two sons. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Murray State University and is licensed as a Psychological Associate by the North Carolina Psychology Board. Stephanie developed an interest in helping neurodivergent individuals and their families through her own journey to find quality support for her autistic son. Her education and personal experience have given her a unique ability to understand and connect with her clients. She believes that therapy and assessment should be supportive, accepting, and fun. Her specialties are psychological and psychoeducational assessments and therapy for a wide range of presenting concerns including: Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Bipolar Disorder, Learning Disorders, and other challenges. She uses psychological testing to help clients find clarity and build a foundation for growth and success. By building on strengths, she helps people accept and love themselves as they navigate their path to change.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travel, and exploring Charlotte restaurants. She is an avid reader, history buff, and binge watcher of television shows. Stephanie feels a deep connection and satisfaction with her work as a psychologist.

Tricia Gillian, MA, SSP, LPA
Psychologist
As a Licensed Psychological Associate, Tricia brings a profound dedication to supporting children and families, informed by both her extensive professional background and her personal life experiences.
Tricia’s passion for this work is deeply rooted in her own journey through the foster care system and as a parent to a child with disabilities. These experiences have cultivated a unique empathy and a powerful drive to provide expert guidance and support to families navigating similar paths.
With over 25 years of experience, including 20 years as a psychologist, Tricia has a rich and diverse background. Her career began with providing in-home CAP and respite services while she earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She then served as a special education teacher for students with severe and profound disabilities before earning both her Master’s and Specialist degrees in School Psychology from Winthrop University. Tricia’s career has spanned public and charter schools, private practice, and directing an academic support program.
Raven Patterson, M.Ed.S., NCSP
Psychologist
Raven is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and dedicated advocate for children’s educational and mental health needs. With specialized training as a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) certified School Psychologist through NCDPI, Raven brings expertise in assessing and supporting students with diverse learning challenges. With extensive experience in public schools, Raven specializes in supporting students with learning and mental-health disabilities, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Raven holds a Master’s of Education and Education Specialist Degree in School Psychology from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Winston-Salem State University. Her research interests focus on cognitive delays, ADHD, Autism, and early detection of developmental concerns in children. She has presented her work at national conferences, including the National Association of School Psychology Conference, and actively contributes to professional organizations.
Sarah Walters, BA
Admin and Billing Specialist
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA, in 2021. Her fascination with psychology began in high school during an AP Psychology course, where she developed a keen interest in the brain’s diverse functions and how each person’s brain works uniquely.
She has held various roles within the psychology field, including psychometry, administrative management, and clinical report writing. At Clear Foundations, Sarah oversees financial and administrative operations, coordinating with insurance companies and managing client billing. Her thorough and attentive approach supports both clients and the clinical team. She also assists with the intake process and occasionally administers assessments.
Originally from a small town in Michigan, Sarah relocated to Charlotte in 2021 with friends. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and biking, as well as painting, baking, playing games, and spending time with her dog, Ivy. She is actively involved in her local church, serving in Children’s Ministry and participating in a weekly Bible study.
Lexi Riddiough, BS
Psychometrist
Lexi earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Mobile (Mobile, AL) in 2019. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and is a member of Psi Chi international honor society of Psychology. She has always been interested in the brain, and her psychology courses sparked a special interest in Neuropsychology. She administers and scores assessments, assists in the report writing process, and enjoys interacting with clients and their families.
Lexi is originally from Wisconsin, but moved to Charlotte with her husband Zach in 2021. They have a daughter and two cats, and they enjoy traveling, playing board games, cooking, and baking. Lexi speaks French fluently and lived in Paris after graduating from college – she hopes to live in France again someday! Lexi and Zach are members of a local church, where they are involved in several ministries and Bible studies.
Jennifer Davidson, MSW, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker Therapist
Jennifer brings extensive experience and a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy, and she is now accepting new clients. Jennifer works with children, teens, young adults, and families, creating a safe, supportive space for personal growth while addressing sensitive and complex issues.
Jennifer holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington, a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and General Psychology from Carson-Newman University and a certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT).
Debbie Messner
Practice Outreach & Engagement Specialist/ Psychometrist
Debbie joined Clear Foundations in December 2024, bringing with her a strong passion for community involvement and a deep understanding of human behavior. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Duke University.
With over 20 years of active volunteer work, Debbie has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to supporting and enriching her community. She currently serves as the Chairperson for the Charlotte area Duke Alumni Admissions Advisory Committee. Additionally, Debbie is a proud member of the George Mason University Parent & Family Council and serves as the Secretary for the Marvin Ridge Mavericks Athletic Boosters Club.
Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Debbie enjoys spending quality time with her family.
