Groups

Clear Foundations offers a variety of groups for neurodivergent teens and adults. We conduct our groups in a psychoeducational and support group format. Groups provide a unique opportunity to connect with others who have similar experiences and concerns. Learning from one another in a fun and supportive atmosphere can produce powerful and long lasting change. Each group is facilitate by a Clear Foundations’ clinician or coach.

ADHD Teen Groups

Executive Functioning and Social Coaching Group for Teens Grades 9 through 12.

  • ADHD Teen Female Group (teens identifying as female)
  • ADHD Teen Male Group (teens identifying as male)

This group will help teens form social connections as they sharpen their executive functioning skills. Teens will learn to improve focus/attention, time management, study skills, emotion regulation, motivation, organization, communication, and problem solving.

All groups are neurodivergent affirming and focus on accepting and loving one’s authentic self. Teens will form social connections while learning skills to manage their sensory needs, improve communication, increase self confidence, improve self advocacy skills, manage anxiety, and regulate emotions.

Young Adult “Launching” Group for Adults 18 to 22

Autistic young adults will come together and prepare for leaving home and entering college. The transition to college can be difficult for an autistic young adult. Participants will learn to manage the new environment of college that presents new social, emotional and sensory challenges. The topics covered will include scheduling, time management, study skills, setting boundaries in relationships, identifying needs, self advocation, communicating with professors, self protection and identifying danger. This group will also include a special session for parents on supporting their adult child through this transition.

Young Adult “Launching” Group for Adults 18 to 22

Autistic Adult Womens Group

For autistic women or women that identify with autistic characteristics and are navigating life through an autistic lens. A group for women to support one another as they learn to “let down the mask” and successfully navigate work, family, friendships, romance, and parenting.
